The concept of psychogeography informs my approach towards making images. My work explores the relationship and association we obtain with places and objects, both public and domestic. Whilst photographing the everyday, I aim to repurpose the common and practical denotations that define an object, and recompose their representation. 

 

I hope for the work to challenge perceptions of the overlooked, and to seek out fragments of utopia in the everyday, informed by subjective and sentimental associations.
